Was -2 or -3 C this morning here, and the cars are still frozen up. Definitely cooler than a day or two back. Still the days will start to get longer very soon.
Projected to stay either at or around freezing, or alternatively rain up to New Year and slightly beyond.

Very hard frost overnight which made it look as Christmassy as it can be without actually snowing. Was lovely and sunny when I went to collect the turkey and other meat from the butchers and brave Tesco for the bits that were missing from the delivery yesterday... it’s now grey and murky again, 2c, and my wallet is £350 pounds lighter... but I did get some nice bottles of wine for Christmas Day.
