    The article linked to on CD's was interesting. Some good points made.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Had to look to see if the article was dated April First.

    Searching for more information reveals nothing. No hits at all.

    I predict there will never be another new physical format, not one that will catch on anyway. It's not technically possible to improve on the compact disc and the world has moved on to streaming in any case.

    kinda tthought it might be an april foolbut, hell it may not lol. there were 3 other sites carrying same story. i think i will stick with what have and most young uns are streaming only.
    i think it suggested just using a stylus so i suspect a tt is used or its a bollocks story.

    IMO Laserdisc was the best solution for an analogue carrier that did not have the drawbacks of a vinyl record. There was no market for audio-only laserdisc at the time though.
