Strange I was searching for a pair of these or the ms version last week. Found none in the UK but ther3 are some abroad. I wanted to rebuild cabinets but they are a great speaker. Wish I hadn’t sold mine many years ago.
    Good luck with your search.

Are you seeking these as a cheap way into the Living Voice sound? As early auditoriums don't go for that much.

    Yes...sort of.

    I have the jsoundlab 300b and and a 5.5w el84 se .

I fancy trying some more efficient speakers and thought the dali would be a cheap try.

What are the auditoriums like with 300b etc?

I have seen a pair change hands a few times on the wam, etc.
Owned by Bourney at one point.

I was wondering why they don't find a home for longer.

I'm not qualified to say but the ones I've heard seemed to have a rather recessed treble which wasn't too my taste, and I don't mind laid back. Maybe the Dali's are voiced a little brighter which I'd prefer

I had a mint pair and bought LV bases for them. Lifted their performance but ultimately they sound less focused than even the most basic older LVs. Great fun though.
Other cheapish speakers that use similar drivers are Avi biggatrons. I reckon they could be tweaked nicely to sound fantastic.
