my tonearm drops like a rock anyone here ever relubed the push pin? Is it as easy as the attached pic indicates to get to it & put some of the 300-500 K silicone *oil* on it ?

Can't advise you regarding your Sony arm, but the silicone fluid used in SME arm lift/lower mechanisms is closer to 1,000,000cS in viscosity.
