    Default Reinventing the wheel

Clearaudio Anniversary Unify by Shaun Haselden, on Flickr

Back in 2018 I had a rethink of the vinyl replay side of my sound system. This rethink resulted in me selling off around 90% of my vinyl collection due to that collection being largely composed of junk that I would never ever play. I kept the albums that meant the most to me or that I had some connection with just in case. That just in case moment arrived a week or so back as a result of certain events happening in my life since November 2019.

On Wednesday of last week I bought a Clearaudio Anniversary turntable with a Clearaudio Unify tonearm that is even now only partially assembled. My intention is to set this up primarily with jazz in mind. How things change...?

Nothing quite like playing an album on vinyl. So much satisfaction. Enjoy.

Whilst I'm on the subject of analogue setups, does anyone remember the original Ultimo 10X ? I bought mine back in 1979 brand new at a cost of sixty five quid. Slightly different to the current version then ?
