Musical Fidelity x ray 24 bitv Meridian 506 24 bit

Hi All
Currently got a musical fidelity x-ray which very pleased with and big upgrade for me , also love style of it at the time was also looking out for a meridian player but none around at the time, have seen a 506 :24 , anyone had any experience of both and would I notice anything between the two.

Never heard a Meridian CD player I didn't like. I've heard many and always thought they sounded right to me. Currently using a 507.

Oh I used to have a 506.18 and that was lovely too. The tray and mech just imbue it with a feeling of quality and meaning business before you even listen to it.
