    1st day of month and wall to wall sunshine; 11c with promise of up to 19c

    You're bloody lucky. We have the same thick black cloud and hint of drizzle we have endured for weeks now except for the occasional short spell of sun. It's been fleece weather today.

    lol.. one of nicest days for a long time. no wind to speak of, just cool sunshine. we are gonna need rain soon tho as the reservoirs are getting low in places. been a dry summer for our standards

    Nice day so far - started off dullish, but is now quite bright and cheerful. Slightly cold. I'm not in a hurry for rain, though the water butts are nearly empty again.
    Round here one wet day can fill a water butt!
