Khadas Tone Board and Nord Stream DAC

Picked up a Nord Stream Dac box on eBay out of curiosity, mainly to check out the Khadas tone board the other day for £90.

Now it may look ugly but jeez the bang for buck of this thing is off the charts. IMO the tone board kills many a mid priced DAC. As a streamer + DAC it’s rudimentary but does the job with Qobuz well enough to make a permanent addition to my system until someone builds a truest decent streamer / dac combo.

Basically what I’m saying if anyone is stuck for £££ and needs a DAC don’t discount this one despite the £70 something pound RRP. I am pleasantly surprised. Was looking for a combo box upto £1k!
