    I'm Geoff.

    Default Thorens TD125 Mk1 Turntable

    Thorens TD125 Mk1 - £500

    Custom Cherry plinth (lightly oiled)
    Custom made perspex cover
    Funk Firm Achromat
Supplied with three armboards - an SME one fitted, an uncut one and another that I think may be cut for a Lenco arm but not sure

Runs fine. I replaced the belt a while ago and whilst it benefits from a shove to help get it up to speed, it holds well on the strobe once going. I cleaned and re-oiled the bearing a year or two ago and whilst it's been used regularly, it hasn't done an awful lot of hours since.
All the speeds work, as does the trim control.
The electronics are all original as far as I know. All I've ever done is clean the contact pads for the switches.
The springs and adjuster cups are all OK and it's pre-set for an SME 3009 S2 Improved!
Cosmetically, the plinth is pretty good. The deck has a few age related marks but is very respectable. The SME armboard has some cracks in the surface coating at the rear but these are less visible when the arm is fitted.

Collection only from just outside Bicester (M40, J9). You are welcome to inspect and see it running.

I've found the original 45rpm adaptor which will be included. I'm still trying to locate the original platter mat. Not sure if it ever had one.

A very reasonable price Geoff, very surprised it hasn't been snapped up already
