Nice one. I don't know about you but I'm much more interested in quality than quantity. There's not much point in a forum having, say, 3000 members if only 50 of them are posting regularly. I think this is something we should focus on more.

I will go through the membership list later and send an email to those who have joined but have not posted and explain the new ruling, and give them a certain amount of time to respond before their account is removed. I will also post something to that effect in the Notice Board or add it to your sticky in the Welcome area

Yes, there is a welcome message option which is automatically sent to a new member's email address. The software setting for the auto membership cancellation is called 'promotions'. It offers a variety of options if a user goes above or below a certain threshold on posts or infractions or points etc etc. I'll have a proper read later on.

As far as your name is concerned you could simply add it to a signature. That way people addressing you can use Sean rather than 'Third' - makes it all so much more 'human'.
