    Thanks Gary.

Finding myself pulling cables out my main rig to plumb them into the audiolab system.

I have not messed about with stuff for ages...really enjoying the hobby again.

ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

    Phil,
My next step will be trying the airlink BMU, see if that brings further improvement.

Had a look at the Isotek, nice bit of kit...

Before you go spending hundreds on isolation feet, I would try some of these first, you might be surprise at just how good they can be. Under the CD player amp and speakers. You need to buy the appropriate size for the weight of each piece of equipment. If they work for you you can use you hard earn cash on some music, or other upgrades.

alternatively these are good just a bit more

I use the standard sorbothane spheres and have used the hudsons on speaker on my system and they both work very well IMHO, just need to find some big enough to support my 35kg Krell amp.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

Getting a bit over excited the last couple of days....

Croft power amp now needing a couple of fuses.

Eddies, one speaker now resonating in the bass drivers in the right speaker.

Was meant to be a lash up second system-had to plumb the 57s in eventually...

    Cant leave shit alone!!!

Can't make my mind up about it's effect on the marantz 6007 , might be more effective on amps I think. I just love the smoothness of the tray on the 6007 ..for 400 quid it's a rather nice unit. Easy to read the display and quiet as a mouse . Only used as a transport though

    Sweet.

Heard the amps a corker, not heard it myself.
The Transports a future classic imo.
