I think some of the guys coming into Celtic were already in the pipeline before the sale of Ajer (so I'd expect a flurry of signings in the next few weeks), but his £13.5m will no doubt top up the kitty!
Not bad business, eh, considering he only cost £500,000?But yes, he'd be better suited to Serie A or La Liga, not Brentford, which I suspect will simply be a stepping stone to better things, and in the meantime earning a wage considerably higher than he was on at Celtic.
However, it's all exciting stuff at the moment for us, seeing who's coming in and what type of team Ange is building, who incidentally I rate very highly as a manager. No idea how successful we'll be this season, in terms of winning trophies, but I think we're on an exciting journey!
