Hi I joined this forum some time ago and posted a little , but have been inactive for a while, so have had to re-register. I had moved over to the "dark side" of digital , I bought a musical fidelity encore 225 and although I am very happy with the representation for CDs, the other functionality it has and it is a very good amplifier , as a process it is not very engaging or as enjoyable so I plan to get my Linn LP 12 out of the loft , get it serviced and tweaked and see how much more enjoyable I find it. Hence my return.
I feel that whilst there is no doubt of the quality of the new digital technologies , it does not appear to have the emotional engagement of the old analogue tech.
Regards
