    Default Hifiman Deva, any thoughts?

My main headphones are the 400s from Hifiman and AKG NC 700cm2. For some time the AKGs have been winning simply because they are sound very good and are so damn convenient, and no cords means nothing of interest for my cats to play with.
In absolute terms I prefer the planar 400s, and the fact they are open back rather than closed back is for me a big deal, (my ears can't handle IEMs and to a lesser extent closed backs) but I'm just not using them much. Discovering the Deva, which hits all the bases of planar, open back, advanced Codecs and Bluetooth has me really interested. If anyone has used them and can comment much appreciated, anyone that has experience of both the Deva and 400s your opinion would be especially useful.
All the reviews I've seen are pretty positive, and some have said they are pretty similar to the original 400i but maybe a bit warmer, which would suit me fine.
Musical tastes are typical 60 year old. Vocals, light classical, piano, violin with some ambient/ chill thrown in. Rap, metal, heavy rock and opera never get played.

not tried them but did look at them before. they have a bluetooth module you plug in. most say they are good with vocals etc and not too much bass.
I will stick with my Nuras(from your corner of world as well)

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Yes, it's that Dac/amp dongle that has me really interested, the convenience really appeals to me. The lack of low bass doesn't worry me, in fact as a tinnitus sufferer it could work in my favour not triggering it. Really see one of these in my future in the near future.
