Default NAD 3130 vs Rotel RX202 mkii

I currently own a Rotel and I'm very happy with it. However, a NAD has come up for sale for a decent price. I reckon I can probably sell the Rotel for what the NAD will cost me.

There's nothing wrong with the Rotel, I'm very happy with my setup (and, importantly, the wife is happy with how it looks right in the middle of the living room. The NAD would be less welcome....)

How much of an upgrade would the NAD be?

Turntable is Dual 505-1 with NAD 9200 cartridge, speakers are Mordaunt Short Pageant 2.

I've always had a suspicion that the amp is the weakest part of the set up, but, again, there's nothing about it that doesn't please me.

Am I looking to change just for the sake of it?

I'd expect the NAD to drive the MS speakers a bit better than the Rotel unit. The NAD is worth maybe £100 to £120 in decent condition.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Yeah, I'd be getting it for half that. Hard to say no....

I'd guess the NAD will be quite a bit better.

Yes - I would go along with that. The Mordant Short Pageant 2 are very good speakers.
