I've just started a 3-month free trial of Amazon Music HD. As an Amazon Prime memeber £12.99/month after the trial ends is attractive. As a long-time Spotify I'm impressed with the improved SQ on Amazon HD.........BUT I'm less than impressed with the lack of gapless playback. Does anybody know if gapless playback is possible?

Amazon have recently announced that there will be no extra charge for the HD facility so that in future Prime subscribers will be charged £7.99 per month. Watch out Tidal!

£7.99 is certainly very attractive as a Prime user. I think I've sprted the gapless thing now.....it depends on which device/app you use. To begin with I was using an iPad and Moode Airplay/Raspberry Pi and it wasn't gapless. I've just installed the Windows app and using a laptop into a DAC is gapless! Also gapless with a Chromebook......
