    Talking Hello from Surrey

    Hello All,

I am George, a HU-UK dual citizen, living in Surrey. I have been a fan of Mike Oldfield's music since the early 80's. My favourite pieces of his work are are Amarok and Ommadawn. I also like Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, and, most recently, jazz, especially Pat Metheny. I have an old Cambridge Audio CD player and a Marantz PM-15S1 amp, with Tannoy speakers. I build my own modular synthesizer (it will never be "complete", whatever that means) and I occasionally pick up my electric guitar, mainly to learn music theory through practice.

I must admit I registered primarily to be able to respond to classifieds but I'll see how it goes.

    All the best,
    George R

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down
