Mobile music player (DAP) with gapless playback

Greetings all,

I’m looking for a mobile music player (DAP) with gapless playback. They seem to neglect mentioning this aspect of DAPs in the hi-fi press so I’m turning to you chaps for advice; budget is negotiable, so suggest away.

I've had a number of Fiio players. All excellent quality, easy to use and manage, all had gapless playback. They have a good range of players at all prices.

My son is selling an Astell & Kern AK320 which is gapless. Asking £500.
Was £1599 when new. Lives in Doncaster.

All the Shanling players do gapless. Also all the Cowon players.

Can't iPod do this too? Or is that too old hat?(No, I don't mean MP3, you (i)can use lossless downloads, and you can get upgrades to iTB! More than enough for most.)
