Default WTD: ONSEMI MJ15003 or MJ15003G transistors

    Hello All,

I'm looking for one or two genuine ONSEMI MJ15003 or MJ15003G transistors.

I've bought one from Cricklewood electronics on ebay and wiped it down with pure alcohol before using it, the paint came off and I'm now suspicous I have a fake. The paint doesn't come off the ones I bought from Mouser (that's for sure).

I've also bought some MOSPEC equivalents, the resistance readings are not consistant amongst four of them.

I have to start avoiding Fakebay.

    Thanks,
    Rob

    Hello reddish75,

    Thanks for your reply.

They've gone and will not be available until July.

I'd stopped checking this ad after it slipped off the main page with no replies (mistake!).

    The search goes on.

Farnell have them in stock. You used to be able to order 5 as free samples from the onsemi website for $15 postage, not sure if that is still an option.
