    Default Dali Oberon 9 speakers

Has anyone managed to hear a pair of these new designs from Dali yet?

    Decent speakers the Oberon 1.

What amp do you use to drive them? I imagine 40-50w is enough for small-medium rooms.

Very frustrating as Dali dealers are few and far between especially he in the North East. There seems to be little hurry in getting the nines in stock. Even more frustrating is the auditioning concept. It isn't pandemic friendly.
I am getting disappointed in reading review after review of such floor standers to be informed by the writer that integrating a sub wouldn't go a miss. Why? A well designed floor stander shouldn't need an active sub. Woja thing gang?

Dali 9 are specced at-3dB at 35Hz, you won't need a sub for most music. Maybe for electronic, organ music or home theatre if you really want to max out.

They look pretty good - on paper anyway.

Richer Sounds have the Oberon 7 in stock. I don't think it will be too long before they have the Oberon 9 for sale.

I posted a thread on the Wam to hear if anyone had heard or indeed owned a pair of the Wilmslow Audio WA RTL3 which are based on the original TDL design. They were greeted with a fair bit of negativity from one Wammer. The comments were based on the original design and not Wilmslow audio's take on them. Has anyone here heard the Wilmslow version? Here are a couple of pics. They work out over a grand built.
