No doubt the BBC thought they'd receive a kicking from the likes of the Daily Mail for not being 'patriotic enough' if they didn't carpet bomb the channels with coverage of Phil's death. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
I listen to the radio in work and I thought BBC 4 Extra might be a safe haven seeing as there is no news coverage at all on the channel but is wasn't to be. Thank god for Talk Sport!
