    Great post David.

    I always think it's the dreaded 'intermittent fault' when a piece of gear stops working properly then comes back to life. Now I'm almost converted to divine resurrection - the drawback being that I'd never scrap anything and would have a pile of old hi-fi higher than Golgotha.

    I'm not sure about divine resurrection John, though it was Tim at Divine Audio who put me on to the repairers.
    Plus I suspect the Levinson internal DAC remains in the spirit world.

    Morning all. Just an update and a request for input on the half arsed resurrection of my 390S.
    After it's revival explained in the OP, I'm now in the situation where I have to plug the player into my Soncoz DAC to get 2 channel music. The right channel cuts out intermittently if I run it direct into the amps.
    Any ideas if this pinpoints where the issue lies ?
