My eyesight is still ok too, it's my hearing that's fooked. But I need bins for reading if not in natural light. And my A-Z in the van is history.
In 1990 I decided that my struggling to read road signs until I was on top of them at night or in the rain meant it was time for an eye test. Ended up with a pair of Reactolite Rapide gigs. I like the idea of glasses that turned into sunglasses when the sun comes out. So naive. They always had a bit of a tint which looked shit. And the lenses were so heavy, 5 minutes wearing put painful dents on the sides of my nose. So I stopped wearing them, and never had an eye test since.
