    Hi Dan,
interested in this - which valves are required (apart from the EL84)?
I'm guessing it's wired up as PP pentodes?
    Does it have 16R output?

Haven't worked out how to send PMs yet.

    Cheers

A clear photo of the rear would help with one of those questions.

Thanks Dan no indication of the output impedance but unlikely to be 16 ohms. Having said that I've only ever seen 16 ohm taps on a couple of vintage amps and one modern esoteric one, so it's quite ok not to have them.

Not that odd but quite rare, if you're going to have only one winding it makes sense to have it in the middle. Plus a number of 8 ohm speakers dip down in the bass where you want the grip. I actually think it's a great idea and I'd rather have this than a single 4 or 8 ohm tap.

I intend using it to drive my JR149 which are 16R (or is it 15R).
Would £200 picked up be ok?
(Dan you don't seem to have the PM option enabled)
