Default Quad 909 , how do I get into it ?

Has anyone opened up one before?
I managed to get the central middle part off and then dared not go further, I wish to swap out the blue led.

Andy, if it's the same as the 606 :"Remove the bottom-cover (Philips n°2, 8 screws including 4 feet, also two screws on the back Philips n° 1), see exploded view in the service manual".

Hi mate , I did all that and unless it takes some force to part the top and bottom I gave up .
This one is in like new condition so I didn’t want to risk even a scratch over an led .

It's worth any amount of effort to kill a blue LED.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
