Default Gale GS401a , any owners on here ?

Do we have any owners on here or enthusiasts of the speakers that may be able to answer a question or 2 ?

    Cheers

Here's an ancient thread that may be of interest: https://theartofsound.net/forum/show...e-foam-Project
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Yes they are mate , a bit much for the small room upstairs but they make the music very enjoyable.

Got all the bits you needed yet Andy?

Do yours use the Acoustic Research AR6 bass drivers as in the original model? They were uncoated, later ones had a Plastiflex doping and were of a different type I believe.

I’m not in any need of any bits mate , they are working fine , I will take a closer look at them this weekend and let you which drivers they have , I was wondering about the pairs thing , as in are they the same or were there left and right speakers ( I know they were not always sold in pairs) so the tweeters are both in the same places on the baffles .
