    Default Edingdale Assistance

    Hi All,
Newbie here, so hopefully I've put this in the right bit of the forum - please delete/move it if not.

I have a pair of the wonderful Edingdale Mk.1 speakers, and am trying to source a spare bass/mid driver [or even better two..] following a small poke-y finger incident.

I spoke to Colin [Toppsy] yesterday who was incredibly helpful, but unable to help as he has none left in stock.

Just wondering if any of you good people have a spare squirreled away?
They are the CSS EL-166 drivers [approx 6.5"] AKA MarkAudio Woofer #6

    Fingers crossed!
    Cheers,
    Nick

Apologies for that Nick, I got Colin's last driver to replace a (very marginally) crackly unit on my Edingdales.

I was in touch with a chap in India who has a pair (one perfect, one needing a minor surround repair), but he seems to have disappeared to the planet Zog after much emailing.

I'll see if I can get in touch with him.

Talking of the Edingdales, they are without doubt the most superb speakers at the sale price and that price times five. I complete love mine in every way. I can understand why you want to repair them.

Just sent him an email. Fingers crossed that he still has them.

    Thanks for that!

Yes, they're wonderful speakers and am keen to look after them.

No problem. He's in India as I say so there may be a small wait, but I'll give you a yell if he gets back to me.
