    Default Funk Firm Bearing ?

    Hi Folks ,

I hope everyone is well in this crazy time ....

I'm wondering if any has bought and used the bearing uggrade from Funk Firm ? I've orderer and paid for one ,but having seen the quality of the "Boing Feet"
alarm bells are going off . I can't find any drawings of how they are made and the materials used .

I read a few reviews but even they seem a liitle vague ..

Any happy customers out there ?

Hope I've posted this in the appropriate section ?

    many thanks , Richard

The BOING feet are excellent. They may look a little 'garden shed engineering' from up close (although they look absolutely fine when fitted to the deck), but they certainly bring worthwhile improvements. I've used mine on both my old SL1200 and my 1200G and they work very nicely on both decks. I've never tried the Funk bearing for the Techie but I've had plenty of experience in the past with Pink Triangle bearings and they have all been exemplary. My guess is that you're in for a treat.

    Default IanMac Bearing

    Hi Folks ,

I got very lucky and Ian was kind enough to build one for me.
I have all the upgrades done now .... new arm , PSU , de-activated none essential on board electronics. The plinth is next .... maybe . I have some Micro Seiki parts to play with so perhaps with the 1200 performing like this I might put my pennies there .

It sounds pretty good for a DJ turntable .
