FS: Denon 103r Modded MC Cartridge with Denon AU-300LC SUT
Need to move some stuff on I’m not using so first up is this cartridge / SUT combo.
The cartridge, Denon DL103r was sent to a Russian cartridge specialist for suspension repair, nursing and mounting on a heavy quartz/aluminium base (threaded). The specialist estimated there had been 300 hours through the stylus and removed and cleaned/turned and rebonded the diamond. The base gives the cartridge that much needed weight (VTF to be set at 2-2.2g).
I bought this last year from a member of this forum and probably added another 30hrs max onto what was on already. I’ve now settled on my Dynavector for my LP12 so this is just sitting in a draw.
Boxes with fittings and all paperwork, looking for £185 posted.
Also I’m selling the AU-300LC step up transformer which is perfect for the 103r.
Not much use at all as can be seen and does the job admirably. Not much else to say on this one but is boxed with all paperwork also. Looking for £85 posted for this.
If someone wants both as a perfect pair to work with MM preamps, they’re both yours for £265 posted.
