    James, did you sort this? Apparently a Topping D10s can be used as usb/spdf bridge.

    I havent sorted anything Gary but that is an interesting observation on the D10. I have shelved the idea for a while but may return to it in future.

    I have an XMOS asyncronous USB to SPDIF converter. I got it as it allows me to stream the Mac mini into the DAC whilst allowing the DAC to use its vastly superior clock. Cost £60 and made a huge improvement to the sound.

    Where did you get yours from Rob?

    Amazon. It's absolutely superb, and beer money too.

    Here ya go

    USB powered so doesn't need a separate PSU, and it does DSD (384KHz) too.

    I have bought the USB/SPDIF converter Filterlab recommended but have not tried it yet.
