Third day of February but the fifth or sixth day here of grey, damp, mizzly dreariness.

Getting fed up with this now. February is supposed to be a relief after the misery of January but now we’ve got no Audiojumble, no Bristol Hi-Fi Show and no sign of any blue in the sky.

It’s enough to drive a fella to drink! Or just walk, actually, as I’m working from home in the dining room and the booze cabinet is only a few feet away...

A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

10C at the moment. I was about to take the mutt out, but it's started raining. Give it another six weeks or so and people will start moaning about the heat .

Not exactly warm at 9C. Dry, but grey and gloomy, looks like it could rain or snow.
