Trying to snow here but it isn't making much of a fist of it. There are black clouds and brilliant sunshine and there's some real warmth in the sun.

Forecast says it is going to have another go at it overnight.

Must be below zero as the (now seemingly permanent) flood pond at the end of the street is still frozen over. Bit of a bite in the wind but we've had worse.
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

Tia, although not sure if it was her original name. We got her ten years ago from RSPCA and I have a suspicion that they rename rescue dogs.
If I were ever to get another dog it would be a Staffy, she is so stoic and loving.

Despite the Met Office forecast, I managed a bit of gardening and even sat on my favourite bench having a cup of Tea in my shirtsleeves. Was supposedly a 96% chance of Snow through most of today..

Seriously cold tonight. I had to do an hours bike-riding for me Jab.

I was shaking like a leaf when I got to the surgery. Fingers were frozen, bike had a strange steering fault. Glasses steamed up with facemask.

-2C and a wicked East Wind. Still, kills the insects on the fruit trees AFAIK.

Congrats to everyone helping the little birds out with some seeds and nuts!

I'll see what I have in the cupboard myself tomorrow. Do they like chocolate peanuts?

I'm all prepared for it this week: bottom half - undercrackers then thermal long johns then work pants. Top half - thermal long sleeve then t shirt then sweatshirt then fleecy hoodie. Woolly hat, and a pair of 'magic gloves' from pound shop with fingers cut off.

Bring it on! Unless I get snowed in In which case I'm well prepared with Netflix, Prime and lots of records
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

I am pretty sure I've still got my Norwegian Black Thermals. They worked at an eye-watering -15C. Made me look like a big Daddy Longlegs.

It's all about layers, and avoid cotton which gets damp.

Might dig them out tomorrow for some essential exercise.

Certainly a Beast from the East. High pressure near Scandinavia, Low pressure near Spain.

But next week it'll all be over. "If this be Winter, can Spring be far behind?"

0C, sunny and clear blue sky. It would be a nice day if it wasn't so nippy!
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
