    Default WTD: Nytech CTA252XDII

Hi, having been overcome by a fit of nostalgia, I have decided to try and recreate a system that I had fun with back in the late 70s/early 80s, which was based around the Nytech calculator tuner amp. Either MM or MC phono board would be fine. Thanks in advance!

You could try Nytech in Cardiff, Phil Balaam is a really nice guy and he builds some great new amps plus services, and sells parts for, old Nytech gear. Maybe he might have a unit, worth checking?

Not sure if you want to go down this route and perhaps get the unit repaired / upgraded at the above . These are getting very scarce now so this may be the only way to get one .

Hi Andrew, thanks for the link - always a bit wary of Ebay for this sort of thing, but certainly one to consider, especially as Nytech seem able to service their older gear (thanks for previous link, Malcolm), should it be required. But I've never seen one before with this sort of wood trim - looks as though someone at some stage has tried to match it to the plinth of an early Sondek?!
