Aqua La Voce S3 R2R DAC in silver for sale.

I am a recent convert to R2R DACs and have been utterly captivated by the sound of the La Voce S3. The reviews below give a good idea of what you can expect but the thing that blew me away was the natural and effortless presentation: the detail is there, within a deep and wide soundstage, but you are somehow not distracted by it and just become immersed in the music. Deep, powerful but well-controlled bass and a non-fatiguing*analogue sound.*I don’t know if it’s the R2R architecture or something else that Aqua have done but it works.*

I am selling because I have agreed to buy a La Scala, the next model up, and as I have received domestic planning consent for a purchase and I want to make it count and last for a long time. For the La Scala to come off, I need to sell the La Voce..

One other nice thing about these DACs is modular and upgradeable by Aqua. So when the La Voce S3 came out, S2 owners could upgrade to the latest spec if they wanted to. The S3 is the latest version of the La Voce so there’s nothing to update at this point but I think it’s a nice touch from Aqua.

It’s in excellent condition as you can see from the photos. I have the original packaging (two very sturdy boxes) and there’s also an IEC cord that came with the unit included.
