    hi,
    has anyone compared the 2 cartridges and if so what were your findings and preference please?
    My System
    John Wood KT88 Amp.
    Paradise Phono Stage
    Sony TTS-8000 Turntable.
    PMAT-1010 MK6 Tonearm.
    Ortofon Cadenza Bronze
    Sony X555ES Cd Player
    Yamaha NS1000m Speakers

    Sorry I can’t help - I have always fancied a bronze - be interesting to hear the answers to this,there seemed to be quite a few Hanas for sale a short whie ago,I have never heard one,but I know I like Ortofon

    Hana all the way. A far better balanced cartridge and better value.

    I may have to try an ML - if a lightly used one comes up for sale

    Just after the ML was brought out, Guy Sergeant sent me a loaner to try. It might be worth contacting him to see if it is still on the go.

    I run a Hana ML which replaced a Ortofon Cadenza Black. I much prefer the smoother sound and more pronounced bass of the ML. Just my opinion.

    Also a more full bodied, natural mid band and greater presence.

    Hana are great value cartridges.

    Was thinking of getting the Ortofon Quintet Bronze, read a review said it was an easy going smooth cart, now thinking Hana EL.
    Current system 1210 GR. CDP - Meridian G08. Amp -Sugden A21I - Sig. Wharfedale Lintons.
