yes it was the cd2 . a very versatile cd player . it can play direct into amps and sounds not bad at all . we tried this a few days ago at one AOS member . adjustable vloume control . also has the aes output. just got a bnc to rca digital cable to continue comparing . certainly better than the 6007 as a transport .
although i just love the 6007 smooth tray operation and vfm and its not bad at all

Sorry only seen this sd9500 mega heavy copper platted £2.5k monster, great in its day but times have moved on and modern transports and dacs show a marked stepbupnfor audio.
