Acorns. We have a HUGE Oak tree next to the house which deposits umpteen tonnes of leaves and acorns into the garden.

Overcast, 4c. Sun came out for a bit earlier then retreated.

We past the half-way point for January now though. Seems like it has taken forever but Jan always seems to last forever whereas sunny July is over in a flash.

Jan should be 28 days, Feb 30 and move all the 31 day months to the late spring and summer. Nothing's ever properly thought through is it?

And move the extra leap-year day to July or August instead of tacking it on to the second-worst month of the year. Really not hard.

Bloody Romans might know it was them to blame.

Didn't they only have ten months back then though? Hence October was the eighth month i,e 'Oct' and December the tenth ('Dec').
