    Ahhh, yes. The Beast Of The East II has plunged* us into arctic conditions causing widespread chaos, -15șC temperatures and ice-age like challenges, as promised by the weather forecasters and newspapers of course.

    *Plunged being the newspapers' favourite word at the moment

    Well it has snowed overnight, as there's a light dusting on the deck, but it wasn't much. Around 3C at the moment and gloomy again.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    A customer was telling me today that her daughter lives on the edge of Snowdonia National Park somewhere, and today they've had some proper snowfall. Her husband has already slid the car into a wall. Snow and hills are not a good combination. I managed not to bin the van this morning, thank you gritters

    Yeah, they've had some proper snow up there - much higher up, of course. We had a couple of flurries yesterday, but didn't amount to much. Very hard frost this morning though, and pretty cold, but bright and sunny. Quite enjoy these 'fresh and crisp' sunny mornings - reminds me of winter holidays in Austria, without the snow!
