Anyone got the original Caiman they might sell? My one has given up the ghost in one channel
so I’m looking now for a replacement!

I have one. I need to look it out and check that it works. I will do that at the weekend and get back to you.

So here we are, I have found (a little later than originally stated - sorry) my Caiman Mark1.

I need to test it, but I have no reason to believe that it doesn't work.

Here is the obligatory image for the advert.
(Mods - let me know if there are any problems)

There are some other images in this gallery if you want to take a look. It includes the power supply, but I haven't got a figure of 8 lead with it.

In terms of cost, I would be happy with £65 posted or £55 collected from South Manchester. Payment by Bank Transfer.

Please let me know if you are interested. I will hold it for a couple of weeks for you Colin, but will open it out to anyone else who might be interested after that.

    Thanks

    Tim

Just to confirm that this is now tested and all is working just fine ...

Spent a very pleasant 30 mins with it - Co-Ax, Optical and USB all working. Volume control lovely and smooth.

I cannot remember what mods this DAC has had (I owned the original DAC, this Caiman, a Bushmaster and a Caiman 2 - I can't remember what I did to each ...)

Colin - over to you - looking to move this on - keenly priced as it has just been sitting in a box

Drop me a DM if you want it.

I will open out to other interest after the first week of January.

Hi, is this still for sale? How much are you asking for it?
