    Nice combo.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Not sure if it's within your budget or not, but this has an excellent tonearm (Luxman TA-1) designed by Micro Seiki. The TT itself was made by Fujiya Audio which produced a lot of turntables for the likes of Micro Seiki, Denon and Yamaha.

I've bought from them in the past and had a pleasant experience.

Gosh that's pretty, and I've had a soft spot for Luxman gear since I worked in a dealers in the late 80's - lovely amps I remember.
Thanks Pavel, I'll look into that. Slainte mhath

Many thanks to all who have contributed to the discussion. Very much appreciated. I have plumped for Keith's SL150/SME combo.

Will post the LP12 and the PU3 for sale this weekend.
