Crap weather for December

Actually Cadbury's Turkish Delight never appeared. Because Fry's got there first I know I know, nobody likes a smartarse!

No, fair comment, well made. My mum told me it was time I made a living on my own, rather than sponge off my parents. Off I went to Keynsham, Bristol to Fry's Chocolate Factory. A hotbead of Socialism and filthy language. But a cracking time full of laughter and merriment. One night I forgot my sandwiches. Decided 6X Turkish Delight would hit the spot. Turned my stomach over. Never again.

Why travel to the Far East in search of a Princess when you can buy the candy bar?

Anybody remember Bounty Bars. A taste of paradise?

Or those Flake ads which were highly suggestive?

I worked on Turks and Chocolate Freddos. Freddos, a froggy joke on every bar! We'd stop the production line to read good ones out to everybody. Then the foreman would shout at us to get back to work. How we laughed! We couldn't get sacked because we were all in the Union.

Weather a bit grey and cold today. A Westerly blast from Canada and Greenland.

chilly, overcast but dry - managed an eight mile bike ride on my latest build without mudguards and got home with dry backside

Same here but no bike ride. Tomorrow onwards looks horrid.

Rain and cold and no change until Saturday afternoon. I see that 'Drizzle' now has it's own icon on the Met Office site.

I don't see why they feel the need to distinguish between light rain and drizzle but if that's the deal then there should also be icons for 'Spitting' and 'That fine stuff that soaks you through.'
