    Default Evening

Hi everyone, thought this would be a simple hobby. Purchase a hifi then sit and listen so I thought. How wrong could I be.
Solid state, valves, big speakers small speaker electro static speakers. Oh and then there's cables. To close to the wall to far from the wall. Toe in toe out. Lol
Well currently settled on valves driving some Quad Z4 speakers after a journey of various items.
Oh and source I forgot my journey there too. Cd records or digital lol
A fun and exciting journey if sometimes frustrating.
Latest itch is maybe a pair of Spendor sp100r2. Any input?

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Yes, if it were only that simple. But don't let it get you onto the constant 'ever onwards and upwards' path - that way madness lays.

Despite any opinions expressed here or elsewhere, what sound good to your ears is all that matters.

What are your tastes in music?

    Enjoy the Forum
