    I'm Ken.

    Default Hello...

It is nice to meet all of you. I am retired and living in a small town of 682 people on the side of a mountain. I am new here but not to audio. My primary system is in a near constant state of change although I am most often using Fried speakers, Carver amps and Grado cartridges. (I owned a stereo shop that closed in 1994 and most of the inventory is stored here now as I can finally liquidate it in my retirement.) I enjoy all types of music but probably listen most to Jazz. I recently picked up a Technics SL-1200II turntable that is in need of a complete restoration. A friend of mine suggested I come here to seek information as well as input into the best approach to doing this. I look forward to chatting with you...

    Hi Ken. Welcome to AOS.

If you haven't already, take a look through the Techiepedia: https://theartofsound.net/forum/foru...he-Techiepedia

You should find it of interest regarding your Technics turntable.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
