FS: LM3886 Gainclone Amplifier

Ive bought myself one of these Extrons. A bit gobsmacked TBH. Drives my Audionotes easily and sounds fantastic. Thanks for the heads up Duncan. Just goes to show how good a sound you can get for so little money.
The separation and layering is better than a lot of expensive kit I've owned and it just fills my room.
Just banging some massive attack out now.

Duncan, do you think this could be put into a nicer case easily? Just a plain brushed steel type amp case or something?

Yes probably, but is it cost effective.

The case it's in is aluminium.

I'm intrigued ....Just ordered one from the states for £39 from Trump Country ($12 to be exact, postage/customs for the rest) all in...will let you know the coo when I get it...YES, the unit is a bit rough looking, but I seldom look at the mantelpiece when poking the fire.... It's the sound that counts!

Got my Extron MLS 304SA set up in my study system with my KEF Q550’s and I’m really impressed. Happy to keep with this in there for a while

I bought this amp from duncan and it has served its putpose well
if anyone is interested in it, I will start a for sale thread/swapthread for some speakers of similar value.
