    I'm Peter.

Red face I have a listening room once more!

    Hi all, joined in 2014
    Unfortunately:
    • family illness
    • followed by knocking down a house and rebuilding it
    • followed by the hifi getting stuck in the family room

has prevented me doing much listening or tinkering for several years

I've had the same set up for a loooong time...
Arcam A65+/P75+ bi-amped to Musical Technology Kestrel speakers. I've had it for 10+ years maybe. Had Arcam Alpha before that. Added a Beresford Bushmaster MkII at some point.

Thinking about some MA Silver speakers or some speaker upgrade. Thinking about a Caiman once I upgrade speakers...

    Music? Fairly diverse...
Listening to Radiohead Kid A right now, then a random selection might include... Reggae, Thievery Corp., Diana Ross, DJ Shadow, Fleetwood Mac, Frankie Valli, Howlin' Wolf, Jackie Mittoo and Blue note in general, Jimi, Led Zeppelin, Marcus Miller, Plaid, Sigur Ros, Talking Heads, Anything on Ninja Tune...

Sorry to take so long to say hello!

    Hello and welcome.

Nice selection of sounds. Also getting my room into shape and weighing up various options.
One of these days... I'm going to cut you into little pieces.

Hi Peter. Welcome (back) to AOS.

Glad you're finally able to join in and get involved.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
