Default Audio Innovations Series 500 MkI

As above, in perfect working and very good aesthetic condition and with a true class MM-phono stage on board, putting out a more-than-enough 2x25W via its much preferred 4/6/8 Ohms tapped Hinchley O/P transformers. To note, the amp was serviced 5 months ago with some of the ageing parts replaced and since it has't missed a beat. The valve compartment consists of 2x Siemens ECC88s, 1x RFT/Telefunken ECC83, 2x JJ ECC83S's (in the phono stage), and 4x Electro-Harmonix EL34s in the power amp section. Oh, and that nice acrylic plate is untouched, though from the original 4 securing aluminium pegs there's only 2 available.

The asking price is a total of £950 with shipping included (from and to the EU) in proper packaging; payment's via PayPal 'F&F', please (that involves an extra 4.5% PP fee to be paid by the buyer still due to PP's Western EU vs. Eastern EU silly policy).

If you fancy this legendary AI amp contact me via p.m., please. Thanks

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Looks like one of the later MK 1's...extra vent line on the top part of the metalwork and a ventilated/perforated area around the valves...this is the model to get!

thanks Don , agreed. what's more, in this later MkI version the Hinchley O/P transformers are vented, too, making the amp more reliable and sonically consistent

    thanks Don

I, however, made a mistake in the description as the amp clearly has 4/8/16 Ohms speaker output taps
