    Default Edwards Modulus 686 build

    Initial case parts 'look-see'.

    Feet fitted.

Dry run case assembly with new layout 686 boards, plenty of space for ventilation.

IEC inlet hole cut, not easy in 4mm panel.

Remaining holes cut in rear panel and connectors fitted.

    More to follow..
I love Hendrix for so many reasons. He was so much more than just a blues guitarist - he played damn well any kind of guitar he wanted. In fact I'm not sure if he even played the guitar - he played music. - Stevie Ray Vaughan

What case are you using Alan?
I am keen to see how this one comes along, as I will be ordering my pre-drilled case at the weekend.

    Looking good Alan.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Let's hope that special magical smoke does not get released into the wild.

I finally received the correct sized text for the front panel, a bit of delay due to the holiday season.

Firstly a picture showing the link in the XLR socket, to enable use of the single ended input, an idea pinched from Krell:

The completely finished amplifier in all it's glory:

These Neurochrome amplifiers (I have the 286) are stunning performers, I tell people they are end game amplifiers, IMO.
The sheer transparency is almost magical, I certainly won't be looking for anything different.

It can now (finally) make it's way down to Edward's new place.
