    Default M2Tech Evo on Mac

I have bought an M2Tech Evo, with the Evo Clock and Evo Supply.
Considered it a bargain at NZ$200 (approx £105).
    Couldn't resist.
Arrived a couple of days ago.

Was going to run it at work with a MacBook Air into one of Stan's modded SEG Dacs to a Plinius pre/power amp to Mission 780s.

Have just found out from Marco in Italy that it has no drivers past Mac OSX 10.10

    Do I have any options?
    Reload Yosemite? (10.10)
    Linux for Mac?
    Buy an Evo2?

I tried the drivers on Catalina this morning as a test and they blocked the OS from running. What OS are you on? I can test the drivers on any version of OS X / macOS for you; they may well run on a later OS quite comfortably.

    Morning Jerry,

I tried installing the driver on my Mojave 10.14.6 test boot and all seems to be well, certainly in terms of the OS. I had to 'Allow' from SysPref > Security & Privacy as one would expect. Post-install the OS booted immediately as usual, and checking on the kexts in System Report, the OS seems happy with it. Obviously the kext isn't loaded in the last screengrab as I don't have the hardware connected, but there's no reason to think it wouldn't work perfectly, especially as the System Report verifies it as loadable...

Obviously if you update to Catalina, it will either prevent the system from booting or warn you at install stage that the kext won't run on the system and will be removed. But Mojave is good for a good three to four years yet, so stay with it.

I did notice that the installer doesn't appear on their website this morning, fortuitous that I downloaded it yesterday. Send me a PM for that.
