Looking for a pair of 60s-70s bookshelf or stand mount speakers for a friend. Ideally KEF, Tannoy, Celestion or similar. Local to Manchester is good or if you can post that's great as well. What have you got please?

Hi
I still have my Radfords for sale. Not far away. I assume my advert was removed as pictures upside down.
From memory think you enquired before but had to delete message to clear some space.
Thanks

Regarding the KEFS, they are above budget sadly.
Daisy, yes still interested in your speakers but I think you were holding out for the asking price that was a bit too much for me.
Have a look around for a pair of Mordaunt Short Pageant 2 speakers. Your friend will spend a little less and be very happy with them. Just make sure they have the correct original drivers in them. There tend to be a few around, as they don't go wrong.

Hi I’ve been looking Paegent 2s as I’ve had a pair myself before and they were great fun for very little money. Haven’t found any decent examples for sensible money yet though. I paid £35 for my pair and people are trying to sell knackered ones for that.

Pair on ebay in Warwick that look all original with correct drivers. I reckon a squirt of switch cleaner, a new cap on the crossover and a polish would have them like new.
