Default For Sale: Quad 12L Classic Speakers. 1 of only 250 pairs made in Ebony Finish

    For Sale:

Pair of Quad 12L bookshelf speakers. One of only 250 pairs made in real wood ebony finish.
Certificate of authenticity, original manual, Quad white cotton gloves, jumper bars, speaker grilles which have no damage, original packing and box.
High gloss finish has some very light polishing marks as is to be expected for the age of the speakers.

Beautiful standmount monitor speakers only selling as I've now upgraded to Russell K Red 50s.

Price £325.00 including delivery to UK destinations paypable by Paypal F&F gift.

"The beautiful lacquered finish gives the Quad 12L an attractive appearance. This Quad main speaker will give you awesome dynamics and depth of field. Extremely small in size, this Quad stereo speaker is a great choice for those wanting a neat look. The Kevlar composite cone inside the driver of this Quad main speaker handles bass and midrange very well. If you do not require too much of a blast, then this Quad stereo speaker can be easily used without an additional subwoofer. When you move this Quad 12L away from the wall, the twin rear port gets free, which results in amazing depth of field that is just too good to believe."

I had the piano black version and they sound really good.
I thought the bass was a surprise for the size.

Good evening. Are these the original 12L or the subsequent ‘Classic’ line?. The finish looks quite light in the photos; my recollection is they were a little darker. Is it just the photo? Many thanks,

Hi, tganks for the interest. They are the later Classic line. The photos are pretty accurate regarding finish. Hope that helps.

My mind must be going lol... yes these are the earlier 12L models. Apparently the Classic version have round tweeters not oval.

They are still available - open to offers or swap for good mm phono stage or a lowish hours mm cartridge (something like Ortofon 2m black?)
